Lagos Life Find ZUKO: the five-letter city event, explained

How Find ZUKO works in Lagos Life: riddle clues that drop on a timer, letters that glow when you reach the right spot, the Warmer hint and what nobody knows yet.

What Find ZUKO is

ZUKO is a limited-time city event that runs alongside the Daily Gem Hunt — the two live side by side, not one replacing the other. A fifth tile appears in the left-hand button stack: the letters Z, U, K, O and an exclamation mark, with your progress (“1/5 found”) and a proximity hint underneath.

The event’s own description, from the in-game panel: “Solve a riddle, go there, and catch the letter when it glows.” Each letter drop comes with its own riddle and lands at a named landmark — same bones as the gem hunt, stretched over five days instead of one.

How a letter drop works

  1. A riddle drops on a timer. The event button carries a countdown to the next letter. When it hits zero, a fresh riddle appears.
  2. Work out the landmark. The riddles read like the gem hunt’s: local knowledge is the puzzle. Our first verified sighting pointed at the Five Cowries Creek jetty on the Island; the K turned up standing in a glowing pillar at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere while a concert was on.
  3. Travel there. Rides work exactly like any venue trip — pick the place, take the cheapest ride, skip the drive.
  4. Catch it when it glows. On the spot, the letter announces itself visually. Get close enough and you collect it; your button counter ticks up.
  5. Stuck? The button’s hint line warms up as you close in — “Warmer…” means the landmark you are standing in is the right one.

What this desk does not know yet

Printed honestly, because this event is days old:

  • The completion reward. The game tracks your collected set, and the fifth tile is the exclamation mark — but what finishing the set pays has not been verified by anyone outside the studio.
  • Whether missed letters come back. If a letter’s window closes before you reach it, whether it re-runs is unconfirmed.
  • When the event ends. No end date has been announced in-game.

We will update this page as letters drop — the same desk that files the Daily Gem Hunt riddle archive is on this beat too.

While you are out there

ZUKO letter drops and the daily gem can land in the same evening at the same venue — ours did. Stack your trips: check the gem clue of the day, then find the landmark on the map and make one ride pay for both. The front page files every event we verify, riddles and letters alike.

FAQ

What is Find ZUKO in Lagos Life?
A limited-time collection event that runs alongside the Daily Gem Hunt. Five letter tiles — Z, U, K, O and the exclamation mark — are hidden across the city. Each drop is announced with a riddle; travel to where it points and the letter glows so you can catch it. The side button tracks your progress out of five.
Where are the ZUKO letters hidden?
Each letter spawns at its own landmark when its riddle drops. Sightings we have verified ourselves: the K stood as a glowing pillar at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, and the first riddle pointed at the Five Cowries Creek jetty on the Island. The hunt button's Warmer hint tells you when you are closing in.
What do you get for collecting all five ZUKO letters?
Nobody outside the studio has documented the completion reward yet — the game tracks your collection, and this guide updates the moment we can verify what finishing the set pays.
